Overview
Safe Ports has developed a line of security lighting solutions that produce significant operational and energy savings. The solutions are comprised of products and services that together result in effective and efficient security lighting that meets or exceeds the minimum illumination specifications. Components can be implemented as stand‐alone products or integrated into comprehensive green security lighting systems include automated lighting energy controller, health, efficiency and trouble monitor, induction lighting and efficiency fixtures.

Automated Lighting Energy Controller – A microprocessor dynamically controlled voltage transformer that reduces the energy consumed by standard industrial lamps by 15% to 35%. The device supplies only the right amount of energy for the most efficient operation of the fixture. Lumens are not sacrificed by the optimization and the life of the bulb is significantly increased. The system configuration and optimization parameters are computer programmable.

Health, Efficiency and Trouble Monitor – A microprocessor controlled device that measures the lighting circuit current detecting and alerting on inefficient or failing operation. The device detects inefficient controller operation; failed bulbs; indication of lights on when not required; indication of out of compliance minimum security illumination and automatic notification of preventative and repair maintenance required. All indications are reported to a server and routed to e‐mail or standard Smartphone device. Fast and inexpensive installation and configuration.

Induction Lighting Bulbs – The induction lamp is a highly efficient fluorescent tube design that eliminates most failure prone components and decreases energy consumption by half as compared to metal halide design.

High Efficiency Reflective Fixtures – The high level polished reflector and light dispersion lens increases the efficiency of the lamp allowing additional throttling of the lighting energy controller while maintaining minimum illumination requirements.
