In January 2008, Force Protection, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRPT) announced it had selected the Safe Ports team to package and ship spare vehicle parts to its military customers

 

using the company’s Cougar and Buffalo vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to one of Force Protection’s senior executives, “This is an important agreement for our continuing operations. Safe Ports provides the needed surge capability to meet expanding customer needs. Force Protection will be able to streamline as well as reduce lead time and operating costs on shipments.” As importantly, our clients have the ability to increase their customer base and revenue because Safe Ports provides the capability to package and ship spares according to the exacting specifications of military packaging.
